We’re thrilled to announce that the Museum of Art Fort Collins has entered into an agreement to be the fiscal sponsor for the Fort Collins Fringe Festival. The Fringe will return June 11 – 14, 2026!
After a pause since 2019, this exciting grassroots celebration of performance art is coming back to downtown Fort Collins under passionate new leadership. Co-directors Analía Alegre-Femenías Weber and Charles Howes are bringing fresh energy while honoring the festival’s original spirit.
“Partnering with the Fringe Festival was an easy and enthusiastic ‘yes’ for the Museum of Art Fort Collins,” says Executive Director Lisa Hatchadoorian. “The Fringe embodies our dedication to providing accessible, meaningful art experiences that ignite dialogue and enrich our community.”
The Fort Collins Fringe Festival creates space for artists with bold creativity—professionals and amateurs alike—to share their work. Over four days in June, audiences will experience 50+ performances spanning theater, dance, film, comedy, and more across multiple downtown venues.
True to Fringe tradition worldwide, the festival remains unjuried, uncensored, and accessible. Artists keep the majority of their ticket revenue, and performances are priced to welcome all community members, including family-friendly offerings.
The original festival ran successfully from 2013-2019 in Fort Collins and paused due to Covid. In its final year, the festival featured over 90+ performances, sold 3,100+ tickets, and distributed $15,624 in direct payouts to performers.
As fiscal sponsor and producing partner, we’re providing crucial organizational support and fostering deeper community connection for this festival. This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to make art accessible and meaningful for everyone in Fort Collins and Northern Colorado.
