Phase One of the campaign will preserve our architectural gem of a building, provide a dignified, accessible entrance, expand space for community gathering, renovate our galleries, install the climate and emergency systems that allow us to host major exhibitions from lending institutions, and secure our ownership of our spaces.

All donations to this campaign between $250-$100,000 are eligible for a 25% income tax credit through the Enterprise Zone Program.
Phase One: Make Our Building Safe, Accessible, and Welcoming
Goal: Preserve our historic building, build an accessible entrance, and renovate galleries and mechanical systems.
Our building should be a place where everyone feels welcome and safe. Phase One lets us make critical renovations: an accessible entrance, new community gathering spaces, updated galleries, and modern systems that bring the building up to current standards.
With your help, we will:

- Renovate the main-floor galleries
- Open new community gathering spaces

- Restore a historic building, located in the heart of Fort Collins
Phase Two: Expand Our Space and Our Impact
Goal: Build an addition to the Museum.
Once we’ve secured our building and improved our spaces and systems, it’s time to grow. Phase Two is our vision for the future: an addition to our building that creates room for more exhibitions, more community events, and more people to be part of our mission. This expansion will give Fort Collins the museum we all deserve, serving as a cultural hub for our region and amplifying the museum’s role as an economic driver in our community.
With your help, we will:
- Further expand gallery capacity
- Create a rooftop garden for gatherings and events
- Create a more visible, street-level museum store
- Add new areas for education, performance, and community engagement
