alvador Dalí & Pablo Picasso are two of the most well-known artists in all of 20th-century art. For both, aspects of their personal lives and outsized personalities sometimes overshadowed their prodigious creative output. Both were master draftsmen, creative pioneers in many artistic movements throughout the 20th century and moved freely between many mediums.
This exhibition featured the intimate drawings and sketches of both Dalí and Picasso from the collection of Dr. Wayne F. Yakes. Among the highlights, the exhibition will showcase Dalí’s rendering of Dante’s Divine Comedy with 100 woodblock prints that were created from original watercolors.
