On February 8th, from 6-8 pm, artist Sarah McKenzie will sit down for a panel discussion with two other artists in the exhibition, Sean Marshall and Shawna Hockaday, as well as Dr. Ashley Hamilton of the University of Denver. Together, they will explore “The Power of Art in Prison Space.” The conversation will delve into prison architecture and the psychological and social impacts it can have on those inside, as well as the potential for arts programming and creative practice to change the dynamics within. The formal discussion will be followed by a Q&A.
