Experience a creative and social night out with Fiber Artist Bethany Economos. Relax and sip some local beverages while learning how to add decorative stitching to your favorite article of clothing or use provided materials to make a DIY patch. No experience is required!

Bethany Economos is a mixed media artist whose work is often influenced by her surroundings and the world. Her background in Fiber Arts (BFA Tyler School of Art 2001) shows in the hand embroidered stitching and the other surface design techniques. She has moved with her family 14 times in the last 20 years, most recently to Colorado during the first Covid shutdown in 2020. The shutdown (and lack of art supplies) led her to explore the incorporation of upcycled materials and unconventional items into her latest works. This “make do and mend” attitude has positively impacted her life and her work.
