Support MoA’s Mission
The Museum of Art | Fort Collins was founded in 1983 and moved to the historic Post Office building in 1990. Learn more about our history (here). MoA’s mission is to boldly explore contemporary society through art: enlightening, educating, and providing arts leadership for our region. We connect art, artists, and the community.
What makes MoA unique?
We are a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit, meaning we are not funded by a larger entity like a university or local government. We rely on the generosity of individuals, local businesses, and grants to sustain our work. This independence allows us to remain nimble, creative, and deeply responsive to the needs and interests of our community.
Each exhibition is thoughtfully selected with our Northern Colorado community in mind. Our high-quality exhibitions are curated specifically for you! Shows rotate regularly and feature work from local, national, and international artists.
Each individual who gains free entry to MoA through MoA for All represents $10 of foregone revenue. Each free field trip we provide costs around $250. Exhibitions cost $10,000-$40,000.
We are committed to providing high-quality, accessible art experiences to our community, and this can only be sustained with your support.
The Museum of Art | Fort Collins invites collectors and artists alike to make a lasting impact by donating artwork to be sold in support of the museum’s exhibitions, education programs, and community initiatives.
