Brian Allen
Board Member
Chief Operating Officer, UCHealth, Northern Colorado
With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in healthcare management, Brian Allen currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at UCHealth in Northern Colorado, overseeing Poudre Valley Hospital and the Medical Center of the Rockies.
Prior to his current role, Brian was the COO at HCA Healthcare’s Del Sol Medical Center, where he was instrumental in driving significant improvements in patient quality, patient satisfaction, surgical robotics program development, and financial growth and improvement. Under his leadership, Del Sol Medical Center achieved remarkable growth in surgical volumes and robust enhancements in patient care services.
Brian’s journey in healthcare leadership began in the United States Air Force as a Medical Service Corps Officer, followed by pivotal roles at Sebastian River Medical Center and Henrico Doctors’ Hospital.
Brian holds an MBA and MHA from Baylor University and a BS in Management from the United States Air Force Academy. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has been active on various professional boards, highlighting his commitment to the healthcare field.

Chuck Bloser
Board Member- Treasurer
Chuck has a robust, 35-year tax preparation and financial consulting business, the “second act” that he built concurrent with a long career as Senior Sales & Marketing Manager at AGC Chemicals Americas. Chuck’s passion for tax preparation and volunteer work led him to explore his interests in financial management, investments, retirement and college funding strategies, as well as real estate and investor coaching. Chuck earned his BS and MS degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Economics from the University of Michigan. Five months into his engineering career he realized sitting at a desk was not for him and transitioned into technical sales and management. He developed a domestic and international portfolio in excess of $400 million and managed a team of up to 14 sales reps.

Dr. Shawn Bingham
Board Member
Shawn Bingham is entering his 21st year in academia, where he has been a faculty member in sociology and directed Honors Colleges in North Carolina and Florida. He has developed courses that link art, science, and mental health, traveled with students to multiple countries, and has worked with faculty from almost every department on campus to offer interdisciplinary undergraduate seminars. As the Director of the University Honors Program at CSU, his aims are to push students beyond their major and the classroom to understand that life is interdisciplinary. His academic works include books on Henry David Thoreau, comedians with disabilities, political art, the bohemian South, and the tiny housing movement.

Zach Carr
Board Member
Zach Carr is a Small Business Specialist at U.S. Bank. He is a dedicated professional and active community advocate with a rich background in management and banking. In addition to his professional role, Zach is a local mixed media artist and an active participant in the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce.
Zach began his career in management with Batteries Plus in Houston, TX, where he was an integral part in opening and managing four franchise locations. Later, he moved to Fort Collins, CO, working as a store manager at AT&T. In his current role at U.S. Bank, Zach enhances the relationships between small business owners and members of the community.

Dr. Ryan Claycomb
Board Member
Ryan Claycomb teaches courses in modern drama, critical theory, theatre history, dramaturgy and contemporary literature for both English and Theatre. His research responds to questions surrounding performances of the real–real people, real places, and real events–and the political, ethical, and formal issues that arise.
As Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs in the CLA Dean’s office, he focuses on improving and sustaining equity in faculty recruitment, onboarding, academic freedom, tenure and promotion, faculty development, and compensation. He also contributes to processes for space and facilities, college and department governance documentation, strategic planning and implementation. At CSU and previous institutions, he has also developed significant experience in inclusive pedagogy, undergraduate academic affairs, student success initiatives, honors education, and interdisciplinary humanities research and engagement.

Dr. Bev Donnelley
Board Member- Secretary
Dr. Bev Donnelley has been involved in community projects as well as healthcare initiatives and education during her 38-year career as an OBGYN doctor. She joined the Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado as the fourth doctor in that practice in 1983.Donnelley has served on numerous boards including the Fort Collins Symphony board, the Poudre Valley Hospital Foundation Board, the Larimer County American Cancer Society Board, the Hope Lives Breast Cancer Foundation Board and the Foothills Childbirth Education Association Advisory Board. In 2000 she received the Paul Harris Fellow Rotarian Award. Donnelley became involved with the Museum of Art|Fort Collins as a board member during the museum’s formative years in the 1980’s.

Cathy Morgan
Board Member
Cathy has been a supporter of MoA since moving to Fort Collins in 2015. Always an avid art lover, she understands the importance of MoA as a vibrant community asset. Cathy spent much of her career in advertising and marketing, first in the corporate world for Zenith Electronics and Outboard Marine Corporation. From there she moved on to marketing, event planning and web design for two Illinois non-profits, FamilyFarmed.org and Conserve Lake County, organizing events from 300 to 2000 people. Cathy previously served as board secretary for Poudre Valley Community Farms and used her experience as a web designer with Poudre Wilderness Volunteers, both here in Fort Collins.

Patrick Rosen
Board Member- Vice Chair
Patrick Rosen was born in St. Louis, MO where he met his wife, Jenny, before moving to Loveland, CO in 2009. Upon moving to Colorado, he joined our local business partner, Eye Center of Northern Colorado and now serves as the Vice President of Marketing for Fort Collins-based Panorama Eyecare. Additionally, Patrick works with several small businesses in northern Colorado through his web design company, White Box Create. He has enjoyed bringing his children, Bayley, Jameson, and William to the museum, and joined the MoA board of directors in 2022 to provide support in promoting this treasure of Fort Collins.

Rachael Russell
Board Member
Rachael Russell is a Buffalo, NY native who has called Fort Collins, CO home for nearly a decade. She spent eight years working for the City of Fort Collins in the Natural Areas department and The Lincoln Center before beginning her current path toward a career as a financial advisor. A recent graduate from the Colorado State University Master of Business Administration program, Rachael is passionate about using her business expertise to support local organizations. She has previously volunteered and fundraised for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Expanding Horizons Farm, and Fort Collins Police Services, to name a few. Outside of work and service, she enjoys the Colorado outdoors through hiking, cycling, ice climbing, or paddleboarding.

Patti Tyrrell
Board member
Patti Tyrrell moved to Fort Collins in 1973 with her husband, David A. Tyrrell. She was a union laborer for 45 years, in part to help her husband’s life work as an artist. Patti is excited to be part of the Museum of Art Fort Collins and is looking forward to helping share the value of the Arts with the Fort Collins community.

Steve Vandermeer
Board Member- Chair
Steve VanderMeer is an Executive Consultant with over 40 years working in and around public and private nonprofit organizations. Mr. VanderMeer has a long history within the nonprofit world. His first job out of undergrad was with the Philadelphia Zoo, doing curriculum development, marketing, and fundraising. After earning his Master’s in Public Administration he began work with the City of Fort Collins Colorado as an assistant to the city manager, working closely with the city manager and city council managing public participation and continuous improvement efforts. Mr. VanderMeer then moved over to the municipal utility as the director of marketing and energy services, overseeing utility branding, market research, green power, and energy conservation programs.
Mr. VanderMeer has served on numerous governing and advisory boards. He was a founding board member and vice-president of the Friends of Philadelphia Parks, which today, as Philadelphia Parks Alliance, remains an active advocate of the city’s park system. For 13 years Mr. VanderMeer served on the board of directors of the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, six years as board president. During this time, Mr. VanderMeer facilitated an historic public-private partnership with the City of Fort Collins, culminating with the building of a $29 million state of the art, LEED Platinum museum. More recently, he has served on the board of Legacy Land Trust and the Larimer County Open Lands Advisory Board.

Lisa Hatchadoorian
Executive Director
Lisa Hatchadoorian is the Executive Director of the Museum of Art Fort Collins. She received a B.A. in Art History and Music from the University of Virginia and an MA in Curatorial Studies of Contemporary Art from Bard College, NY. She has over 25 years experience in arts administration, curating, grant writing, organizing public art projects and fundraising. Her experience has ranged from the corporate to academic, municipal and non-profit venues. She has been a visiting lecturer at CSU (Osher Institute), Casper College, Casper, WY and has taught art appreciation at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ and Casper College, Casper, WY. I am thrilled to join the Museum of Art Fort Collins as the Development Manager. I come to MoA most recently from Bohemian Foundation, where I worked to develop deep relationships with a variety of community members. As a passionate advocate for the arts and a dedicated member of the Fort Collins community, I am eager to use my skills to contribute to our already vibrant, inclusive cultural scene.
With a deep love for creative expression, I am honored to be a part of this Fort Collins institution. I have lived in Fort Collins for many years and studied fine arts at Colorado State University and the University of Auckland. I truly appreciate the unique blend of creativity and community engagement that defines this city. I look forward to leveraging my enthusiasm and experience to support the continued success of the Museum of Art Fort Collins through my role as Development Manager.

Stan Scott
Manager of Exhibitions and Facility
Stan Scott joins the Museum of Art Fort Collins as the newest member of their exhibition team. Stan first came to Fort Collins to pursue an MFA at CSU in printmaking and his journey has taken him from the art world to social work and community building. Stan has installed exhibits in galleries and museums throughout Northern Colorado for nearly twenty years. His favorite part of the job is working with artists to elevate their work and foster connection.

Josie Taylor
MoA for All Manager
Josie was born and raised in the deep south and graduated from Mississippi College with a B.S. in Biology and English Literature. During college, she worked as a wrangler in the mountains outside of Fort Collins and fell in love with the city. As MoA For All Manager, Josie strategizes and oversees the Museum’s community engagement and educational initiatives, creating programming for diverse audiences that centers on making art accessible to everyone. She develops strategic partnerships with local organizations and designs educational experiences that meet community members where they are, consistently working to remove traditional barriers to museum participation and fulfill the Museum’s mission of connecting art, artists, and community through inclusive, welcoming programming.

VISITOR SERVICES ASSOCIATE
Lesly was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado up until her move to Fort Collins where she attended school at Colorado State University as a fine arts major. She has a passion for fiber artwork within the arts with interests in weaving, dyeing with natural and fiber reactive dye, and embroidery. Outside of the art world her favorite curiosities are trying different cultures of food and learning about events throughout all of the years in history.

ANNA DE SOTO
VISITOR SERVICES ASSOCIATE
Originally from the DC area, Anna is an Art History major at CSU whose main focus is fiber arts. Some of her favorite artists are Erin M. Riley, Allyson Mitchell, and Vincent Van Gogh. She loves traveling around but loves Scotland the most. In her free time, you can find her skiing the slopes, in the climbing gym, or on her mountain bike falling on one of the many trails around town. She is a dedicated mom to her dog, Dakota.
