Some information on larger tours:
Timeline
- Most tours last 1- 1 ½ hours. We can host 3 classes at once, an average 20-25 students per class for a total of 75-80 students at one time. They cycle through 3 spaces as a class. The amount of time and depth of the tour will depend on the age of the students.
- The First group will have a 30 minute tour of the gallery with a docent. They will have eye spy sheets and literacy prompts to use during their tour.
- The Second group will do hands-on activities in our Art.Edu.Osity Room. There will be a docent to help students understand the activities.
- The Third group will have an opportunity to tour the Lynnette C. Jung Springberg Gallery (our Hallway gallery), use the bathroom, get a drink and/or eat lunch outside on Oak Street Plaza. The Museum can provide a docent for this part of the tour as well, just please request it ahead of time.
