Wonderlab! Celebrating Creativity and Curiosity on School Days Off
Classes designed and taught by Kimberly Noel and Tom Noel
Spend the day with us to stretch and explore your creative brain! A day filled with possibilities to make your creative ideas come to life while experimenting with a wide variety of art making materials. We will play creative thinking games in the art museum to spark ideas and play improv games to build confidence and trust. Each day we will highlight different art making strategies and techniques to build the artist’s library of options. Two seasoned educators: Kimberly is a working artist and a 30 year veteran art teacher, Tom is a veteran elementary teacher with a passion for science and inventing. We will work together with young artists to help them envision their unique creative ideas.
The child is the artist, the space is their studio. We support their creativity and curiosity.
Each Wonderlab class will be a unique experience, with the goal to teach artistic behaviors, explore ideas, materials and techniques; We celebrate young artists’ critical thinking and problem solving inherent in their unique creative endeavors.
Classes are from 9am-4pm. All art materials provided. Students provide their own lunches and snacks.

The superpower of this MoA educational class is based on experience engaging with inspiring artists and their art visions. Each experience in the museum will be uniquely dynamic and collaborative in nature. The inquiry questions and discovery experiences are based in part on The 8 Studio Habits of Mind researched and developed by The Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Project Zero, and on a combined 60+ years of teaching experience.
