Street art turns everyday spaces into eye-popping masterpieces, from colorful murals to cool gallery displays. At this camp, kids will dive into the exciting world of graffiti and street art, learning awesome techniques to create their own bold designs. They’ll whip up wheat paste stencil art, finger-knit to make a fun and colorful yarn bomb installation, decorate vinyl toys with their unique style, design temporary tattoos, and even craft beautiful flower mandalas.

Every day, we’ll explore the stories of street art legends like Shepard Fairey, the creator of the famous ‘Obey’ designs; Banksy, whose mysterious art always sparks curiosity; and Detour, a local Colorado artist known for his super-vibrant murals that light up the community. This camp is perfect for kids who want to explore the bold, creative world of street art and make their own unique masterpieces

Daily Schedule:

Explore different artists and styles specializing in street art

15-20 minute snack break: Outside in Oak Street Plaza, weather permitting (Students must provide their own snacks, but don’t worry, we’ll have extra if necessary!)

Finish up our bold presentation of the daily street art!
