After-School Mindfulness through Art Classes
Our after-school art classes are designed to introduce engaging mindfulness tools and practices that cultivate social-emotional development, confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset. Each class includes hands-on creative projects that enhance learning and reinforce the lesson by integrating it into unique, artistic creations. Our workshop themes align with the natural rhythms of the world around us, fostering a deeper connection and understanding of nature and ourselves.

Cozy Reflections: Winter’s Quiet Adventures
February 5 – February 26
Join us for this serene and creative class where students embrace the dreamy, introspective nature of the winter season. Just as the natural world turns inward to rest and reset, we will explore the importance of quiet reflection for personal growth. Students will craft and bind their own winter journals to capture their thoughts, reflections, dreams, and plans. These journals will serve as a cherished space for inner exploration, helping them understand that periods of quiet and dormancy are essential for growing into their best and brightest selves. We will begin each class with some quiet journaling time to reflect on and process the day. This sets the tone for our thoughtful art projects, which are designed to represent the essence of winter’s quiet beauty.
Amazing ME!
March 5 – April 2 (excluding March 19)
Join us for 4-weeks of art and mindfulness dedicated to recognizing and celebrating how TRULY AMAZING we all really are! We will discuss positive affirmations – what they are and how they work in our lives, how to create them and how to use them. Then we will incorporate all these beautiful affirmations into unique pieces of art that serve as a constant reminder of just how great we are!
Garden of Life: Blooming into a Growth Mindset
April 9 – April 30
As we transition from winter to spring, we naturally look to see growth of all kinds blossoming forth around us. What better season to focus on our own personal growth and expansion? In this class students will explore themes that encourage a growth mindset and skill development. Through engaging and creative projects that celebrate the beauty and vibrancy of spring and summer, kids will learn to embrace change, cultivate resilience, and nurture their potential. Join us as we blossom together, inspired by the season’s spirit of renewal and growth.
