Time to roll for initiative! We’ll be designing characters, maps, comics and making our own
fantasy relics as we band together in a mash up of art and RPG experience with traps and
treasures along the way.
Daily Schedule:
1:00-3:00: Explore how to design your own fantasy world with Shawn Bowman
3:00-3:30: Snack served (avoiding any specified allergies)
3:30-5:00: Outside time right next to MoA in Oak Street Plaza along with open arts time and fun art based games
Monday: Meet Your Maker
Who should go on our quest? Will you play a kind thief or forgetful wizard? Today we draw our
characters, design a fantasy map and take our first steps into the world of adventure.
Tuesday: Secret Grimoire
From casting spells to creating magical items and reading hidden rune alphabets, we’ll need
a special book to hold all our secrets. During today’s adventure we’ll create a fantastical spell
book with illuminated covers.
Wednesday: Decrypt the Clues
Hidden throughout our adventure have been runestones, carvings, signs and other mysteries,
today we find the notorious codex and leave our own secret messages.
Thursday: Bracelets of Protection
Each day the monsters we encounter get a little tougher to defeat! Today we’ll craft
wearable charms to enhance our battle skills.
Friday: Here be Dragons!
The fiery beast has haunted and hunted us this whole week,
did we defeat them or has our party been reduced to ash?
We’ll immortalize our quest in a special dragon project
today and share our adventure comics and maps with the
rest of our travel companions.
