Comic Club: Design, Draw, and Defeat!

“Comic Club” will run every Thursday in 3 week blocks during Poudre School District Fall Semester, except for holidays and scheduled school breaks – dates for each session will be listed
Calling all heroes, villains and Mangaphiles it’s time to assemble! Whether you’re into superhero comics, thrilling manga, or graphic novels, this after-school program is your magic portal to the world of comic book creation.
Each week, we’ll dive into the essentials of crafting dynamic characters, designing captivating settings, and building gripping story arcs. Imagine your characters facing high-stakes battles or unexpected twists like a surprise lava shark attack! With moments that make you go “Pow!” and “Bang!”, you’ll explore every facet of comic book storytelling.
Each 3 week session will feature unique and exciting activities, culminating in your very own comic book masterpieces. Snacks and materials will be provided. Students are welcome to dress up and bring their own additional drawing tools and sketchbooks if they would like.

Times and Dates
Times:
Drop off: 3-4pm
Pick up: 5:30-6pm
*Program will run from 4 – 5:30, but you are free to drop off as early as 3pm. Extra activities will be provided outside of instruction time!
*Transportation to/from MoA not included
