Celeste Huang-Menders and Alexander Huang-Menders with Special Guest Dunia Jama

Join us for a free and informative evening with teen advocates, Celeste and Alexander Huang-Menders. Celeste Huang-Menders and Alexander Huang-Menders are a sister and brother team working on a
major global portrait project putting a face to the global refugee crisis. They will discuss their work in raising awareness as documentary photographers and independent advocates, share insight into navigating complex and potentially hostile environments, and share images and stories from “The Power of Faces” of the men, women and children they’ve met around the world.
Dunia Jama and her family fled from Somalia to Kenya in 2006 and were resettled in the U.S. in 2013.
