Bring a friend for this unique night out. \n\n\n\n(Non-alcoholic beer also available)\n\n\n\nMay 14th\n\n\n\n6-8pm\n\n\n\n$25\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArtist and Instructor Bethany Economos\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBookmaking in process\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBethany Economos is a mixed media artist whose work is often influenced by her surroundings and the world. Her background in Fiber Arts (BFA Tyler School of Art 2001) shows in the hand embroidered stitching and the other surface design techniques. She has moved with her family 14 times in the last 20 years, most recently to Colorado during the first Covid shutdown in 2020. The shutdown (and lack of art supplies) led her to explore the incorporation of upcycled materials and unconventional items into her latest works. This “make do and mend” attitude has positively impacted her life and her work. \n
