Funke, pay homage to the famous Saturday night salons hosted by Gertrude Stein in 1920s Paris, which regularly drew artists, writers, and composers such as Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Matisse, and Picasso. Salons are a centuries-old tradition of conversational gatherings centered around lively discussion and critical discourse.\n\n\n\nCome be a fly on the wall at this series of candid conversations as a rotating group of our brightest local stars—one each representing writing, visual arts, performing arts, and music—dig deep to uncover what is working for all types of artists today, what could be working better, and what has never worked at all in Fort Collins and beyond.\n\n\n\nThis event is by invitation only and intended for an audience of professional artists; arts organizers and advocates; arts educators and service providers; and arts-based business owners.\n\n\n\nSponsored by Dr. Peter Springberg\n\n\n\nFirst Salon: Tuesday June 13, 2023Host: Teresa R.
